These illustrations by non-Americans are my favourites because they really do show thinking outside the box -- no pre-conceived ideas of what Thanksgiving is. I had to look more closely to see that that's wild rice. I love this.

Tradiţiile îngemănate. Cuiul este elementul de legătură al construcţiei. Ce se construieşte? Indianul reprezintă structura iniţiatică a resursei primordială. Vorbim deci de un preistoric care nu mai poate fi observat. Cuiul se transformă în tară, în lest preconceput. Este vorba deci despre limitarea umană în a înţelege trecutul, de sensul pierdut al cunoaşterii şi al fiinţei.
